A$AP Rocky + Bari + Guests + Nike Lab = VLONE

On Friday, A$AP Mob hosted a VLONE party at a secret location in London. This coincided with the Nike Lab collab & pop-up that took place over the weekend. The exclusive party featured performances from A$AP Rocky, Section Boyz and more.

We had the luxury of Harry Masih going down to the event to take some snaps. Here’s what happened…

ASAP Bari, the face of VLONE hosted the party in Hackney’s very own ‘majestic’ Mangle. A truly under wraps location for the event. The venue, we can say, had an Esque warehouse touch to it. Concrete floors, exposed ceilings and shredded walls. The bar & stage become the core of the venue which portrayed VLONE’s vibe really well actually. The tone and atmosphere of the place were very raw, yet it embodied the image and style of both collaborations well.

This very exclusive party featured DJ sets/performances from Siobhan Bell, PXSSY PALACE, Tiffany Calver, A$AP Rocky, Section Boyz. Bari also invited names from Tremaine aka DenimTears & Jesse James. One hell of a night for special guests!

Brief History – Vlone – The Lonely Boys

For those who are unaware of how fashion is combined with the music collective of ASAP Mob here are the details. They’ve exemplified what they can do with music, but also venture out into the realms of apparel and high fashion. A$AP Rocky is a prime example who has established himself with numerous amounts of collaborations. Since then the ASAP Mob have brought forward the introduction of the clothing label, VLONE. Comprised of A$AP Rocky, A$AP Bari and CLOT’s Edison Chen, they’ve just begun to scratch the surface of what “always strive and prosper” genuinely means.

Within recent months the label has been able to infiltrate and express their version of retail experience in the world. With dynamic thinking and notable collaborations, especially with the OFF-WHITE collab. VLONE has rapidly and mercilessly shown their representation of how all three view the world.

Nike Lab x VLONE

This event coincided with the drop of the Air Force 1 “Every Living Thing Dies Alone” sneakers, retailed at £250 as they were limited to 200 pairs. For those die-hard fans, you can pick them up for a mere £1000 on the UK re-sell market. Having said that, VLONE x NIKE dropped some very limited garments. They consist of T-shirts, hoodies and accessories such as pins and headbands. Every item embodied the VLONE’s signature colour way, Black & Orange.

For now, all we know is that there is a potential similar event in Texas. But we’ll never know until a few hours before they drop another collection in some suburb part of town. See you there…
